Outreach Programs
Northwest Regional Library staff loves serving its community. The library currently offers two outreach programs.
Books-By-Mail
The Books-By-Mail program is a free program provided by Northwest Regional Library. The program is aimed at helping medically homebound patrons, those that require LARGE PRINT or AUDIOBOOKS, or patrons who live more than ten miles from a town with a library and are residents of Franklin, Marion or Lamar Counties.
Member Libraries
Northwest Regional Library sytem is made up of seven member libraries.
E-Books
Northwest Regional Library offers library cards for the digital library, Camellia Net-Alabama Digital Library.
Interlibrary Loans
Interlibrary Loans allow us to offer books that our small, rural libraries can’t house in their collections. It allows patrons a wider range of options for checkout! We have received books from as far as New York and Alaska! Speak with your library about interlibrary loans today!
Summer Reading Programs
Summer reading is our busiest time of year. All member libraries offer a summer reading program at their libraries. Summer reading is crucial in helping students maintain their academic levels.
